President Maia Sandu for Tuesday convened a meeting of the Supreme Security Council (SSC) to examine the efforts made to strengthen the security of the electoral process, IPN reports.
The meeting will analyze the progress made in combating political and electoral corruption, in preventing the manipulation of information and external influences on the electoral process, as well as in preventing illegal financing of political parties.
"Also, there will be discussed the measures needed to strengthen cybersecurity in order to protect the integrity of this year's elections," said the President’s Office.
