Dumitru Diacov, the president of honor of the Democratic Party, said his party will never accept holding snap elections. According to him, the people voted for parties confident that these will enter Parliament, will sit at the negotiating table and will solve the country’s problems, IPN reports.
“The Democratic Party is in the epicenter of the political spectrum and, given that we now hold power, we are ready to discuss. We not only initiate talks. We suggest sitting at the negotiating table and discussing as there is a wide range of problems that need to be addressed,” Dumitru Diacov stated in the program “Important” on TVC21 channel.
According to him, for now the PDM does not consider forming an alliance with the Party of Socialists and invited to discussions only representatives of the electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS. “The Socialists have another program and other views on the country’s political course, “ stated Dumitru Diacov.
He noted that if the bloc ACUM continues to react as it does now and refuses to have talks with the PDM, the Democrats will discuss with those who will want this and for whom the country’s fate is important.
