The President of France Emmanuel Macron is expected to come on a working visit to Chisinau on June 15. He will have an official meeting with the President of Moldova Maia Sandu, IPN reports, quoting the presidential press service.
After the meeting, the two officials will give a joint news conference and will later make a visit to the French Alliance in Moldova. They will also have a discussion with representatives of Moldovan civil society.
On March 11, Moldova and France celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations. Through the agency of the programs of the French Development Agency (FDA), the French authorities have contributed to economic development, offering assistance in implementing public policies and for sustainable development. A FDA office was opened in Chisinau on February 1, 2022.
