President Igor Dodon meets with Russian counterpart

President Igor Dodon, who is on an official visit to Moscow, on January 17 has a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. According to the official website of the President of the Russian Federation, the discussions will focus on a number of issues. Special attention will be devoted to the settlement of the Transnistrian dispute, IPN reports.

The two Heads of State will confer on the bilateral relations, commercial-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation and topical regional problems, mainly the Transnistrian conflict.

Igor Dodon is paying an official visit to Moscow on January 16-18. While in Moscow, the Head of State will also meet with the chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitri Rogozin, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sarkisyan and Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.
