President Igor Dodon promulgated the laws with a social impact from the package adopted by Government by assuming responsibility before Parliament. The laws that are economic in character are being examined, IPN reports.

Among the promulgated laws are the law that allows for the provision of lump sums of 600 lei to recipients of pensions and social benefits lower than 2,000 lei a month, the law that modifies the pension indexation mechanism, the laws to amend the Labor Code and the law on people of creation and creation unions.

On March 7, the Government assumed responsibility for nine laws before Parliament, while on March 11 Speaker Andrian Candu signed and submitted the laws for promulgation.
