President Dodon on official visit to Armenia

President Igor Dodon goes on a two-day official visit to the Republic of Armenia on November 9. While in Armenia, he will have meetings with Armenian high-ranking officials, including the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, Chairman of the National Assembly Ara Babloian, and Prime Minister Karen Karapetian, IPN reports.

In a message on Facebook, Igor Dodon says that this is the first official visit paid by a President of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Armenia during the 26 years of independence of Moldova.

“Armenia is a member of the Eurasian Union and will soon sign a cooperation agreement with the EU as well. It is an interesting experience for the Republic of Moldova too. I’m convinced that this visit and the bilateral meetings that will take place in Yerevan will comprehensively contribute to further strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between our states,” said President Dodon.
