Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was invited to pay a visit to Moldova in the nearest future, until the end of this year. The invitation was made by President Igor Dodon during a working visit to Moscow, IPN reports, quoting the presidential press service.
Igor Dodon congratulated Patriarch Kirill on the upcoming Feast of the Annunciation and told him about the preparations made in Moldova for Easter. “We were blessed by His Holiness Kirill to do noble things for the Moldovan people and to strengthen the bilateral relations between Moldova and the Russian Federation,” stated Igor Dodon.
Patriarch Kirill was expected to come to Chisinau last October, but he put off his visit.
