President Igor Dodon will convene a meeting of the Supreme Security Council in a new composition this week. In a press briefing after the December 2 meeting with Prime Minister Ion Chicu and Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grechanyi, President Dodon said the Council will focus on four issues, IPN reports.
According to Igor Dodon, there will be discussed the situation expected in the energy sector after January 1, 2020 and the bank fraud, including the position of the new prosecutor general on the subject, and taken decisions concerning the tracing of assets of those involved in the fraud outside the country.
The Council will also debate the situation of the Chisinau International Airport and the double identity of some of the politicians and also the scandal regarding wiretapping. “I want those responsible in this case to come to the Supreme Security Council and report to the senior state administration on the issue,” sated President Dodon.
According to him, the Supreme Security Council will most probably come together on December 4.
