President confirms 33 judges to posts

President Igor Dodon signed a number of decrees to appoint 33 candidates for judge, who graduated from the National Institute of Justice or are young practicing jurists, to posts, IPN reports.

“We offer them the possibility of distinguishing themselves by the knowledge accumulated and skills acquired both at the School of Magistracy and in their jobs,” Igor Dodon said in a meeting with young judges. He called on them to make every effort to improve the image and quality of justice in Moldova.

The Head of State also said that the people’s expectations of the judiciary are very great. “I know that the newcomers can bring about the changes needed in the sector. I hope they will do this,” concluded Igor Dodon.

Among the new judges are Diana Tricolici, Lorina Ciubotaru, Alexei Paniș, Cristina Panfil, Irina Paduraru, Eugeniu Beselea, Veaceslav Nicula, Marcel Gandrabur, Victor Sarbu, Taisia Prutean, Larisa Lavric, Vitalie Gutan, Natalia Stratan, and Octavian Dvornic.
