Presidency lays off employees, cuts wages
The employees grid of the Moldovan presidency has been changed, as president Vladimir Voronin inked a decree in this respect, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Presidency announces the decree aims to make more efficient budget expenditures. Nine offices from the presidency will be dissolved. The other employees are sent on no-pay vacation for two weeks.
The budget of the Presidency was cut by 20%, and the changes mentioned above are said to save 10% more.
