Preselection for International Festival Contest of World Talents “Micul Print” begins

The preselection for the International Festival Contest of World Talents “Micul Print” (“Little Prince”) starts in Moldova on May 1. The seventeenth contest will take place in Chisinau on May 29 and 30, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the World Organization of Talented Children. The contest is open to young talents aged between 6 and 18. It includes singing, dancing (solo or collective), and poetry (in the mother tongue). The Instrumentalists section will bring together players of violin, guitar, kobsa, panpipe, flute, trumpet, saxophone, accordion. Persons younger than 21 can compete in the Young Composers and Folklorists sections. The preselection will take place on May 1-2 and May 8-9 at the World Organization of Talented Children. The Gala Concert and the award ceremony will be held at the National Palace on May 31, before the International Children's Day.
