Preschool institutions can also apply to “Investing in teachers”

Preschool institutions can now also take part in the National Program “Investing in teachers”. To participate in the program, the managers of institutions must fill in a form by March 11, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Education and Research said that the minimum number of teachers who will be involved in the training program is 15 people per institution. The persons will have access to free training courses, quantified with 10 professional credits at the Psychopedagogy module. The in-service training program will be implemented at the selected preschool education institutions (minimum 70%) and online (maximum 30%), between May and December 2024, according to a schedule agreed with the in-service training provider.

The topics of the training courses will respond to the current needs of teachers, including: the normative framework on the teacher’s work; the educator’s relationship with children and parents; the relevance of learning; inclusive education. The total number of training hours is 300.

In 2023, over 3,000 teachers from 91 national institutions took part in free training courses within the National Program “Investing in teachers”.
