Five commissions will inspect the schools and kindergartens in Chisinau until August 24 to see how they have prepared for the new school year. They will examine the piping systems and the school documentation, the head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb announced at Monday’s meeting of the City Hall, Info-Prim Neo reports. Presently, 80% of the classrooms are ready for the new school year. They were repaired with the help of parents’ councils. The heating systems have been 85% cleaned, Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said. Svetlana Chifa, the head of the Municipal Division for Children’s Rights Protection, said that the 48 community centers for children are being prepared for the new season. The Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca instructed the Green Spaces Association to check the trees located nearby education institutions and cut those that pose a threat.
