The managers of apartment buildings are urged to complete the works to prepare the engineering systems inside blocks for the cold season by the end of September and to present the documents that confirm this to the local office of SA Termoelectrica. The recommendation was formulated by the company’s administration in a press statement, IPN reports.

“The preparation of the engineering systems, including the hydro-pneumatic washing and testing for pressure of the internal heating systems, is essential for avoiding technical problems related to the improper supply of heat inside the block in the cold period of the year,” stated SA Termoelectrica director general Veaceslav Enii.

As it was announced earlier, the apartment buildings that do not have debts for heat will have these works performed free of charge. The initiative was promoted by Termoelectrica within the campaign “Pay in winter to be rewarded in summer” that was extended until September 25.

If the managers have debts for heat, these should cooperate with Termoelectrica in clearing them. They are invited to the company’s head office located at 6 T. Vladimirescu St to conclude a dispute prevention agreement.

The heat supplier said the buildings connected to the centralized heating system can be connected to the heat supply before the official decision to start the heating season is taken, based on an official request made by the manager. The connection procedure lasts for less than three hours.
