The Eastern Partnership Summit set to take place in Brussels on December 15 is an opportunity for the associated partners to agree new areas of cooperation. This will further bring the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia closer to the European Union at political and economic levels, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița stated in an online discussion with her Ukrainian and Georgian counterparts in the Associated Trio format, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, Natalia Gavrilița Denys Shmyhal and Irakli Garibashvili reaffirmed the dialogue agenda within the EaP Summit, which refers to the European aspirations, fostering of cooperation in the security sector and the importance of the EU’s assistance in ensuring the countries’ territorial integrity.
The officials also conferred on subjects typical of the cooperation in the Trio format, like interaction in such sectors as digital economy, energy, transport and liberalization of roaming charges with the EU.
