Premier Vlad Filat wishes success to Nicolae Chernyi
Prime Minister Vlad Filat wished success to the well-known businessman Nicolae Chernyi in his political activity.
Asked by the reporters to comment on Chernyi's announcement that he intends to go into politics, Filat, who is the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), said every citizen can launch the activities they want, but only in accordance with the law.
Even if the reporters insisted, the Premier did not want to predict what kind of party Chernyi could found and if that party could be a serious electoral contender for the PLDM and other parties that form part of the Alliance for European Integration.
“I came home for good,” businessman Nicolae Chernyi said during a news conference on December 16 where he announced his plans to go into politics.
Nicolae Chernyi said he intends to implement a political project and launch a new center-left political organization. He refused to give the names of his partners, but promised he will have his colleagues nearby in January next year.
According to him, the new organization will be social in orientation and could strengthen the political forces together with other players, but without Liberals and Communists.
Nicolae Chernyi is still the deputy director of Lukoil, but the administration of the transnational company accepted his resignation
