Prime Minister Pavel Filip requested Parliament to examine the new structure of the Government as a matter of urgency given the necessity of the reform of the central public administration, IPN reports.
The new structure of the Government includes nine ministries, namely: Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure; Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Justice; Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration; Ministry of the Interior; Ministry of Defense; Ministry of Education, Culture and Research; Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment.
After the list of ministries is approved by Parliament, within three months the Government is to take measures to reorganize the central specialty bodies of the public administration, to submit proposals for adjusting the legislation to the new structure of the central specialty bodies and to ensure the adjustment of its regulatory framework.
