Premier to civil society: Partnership is a term that guides my work

Prime Minister Pavel Filip invited civil society to delegate a representative to work on the Foreign Assistance Coordination Committee of the State Chancellery so as to ensure transparency in the activity of this entity. The invitation was issued in a workshop staged within the annual conference “Cooperation between Parliament and civil society”, IPN reports.

“Partnership is a term that guides my work. I’m a man of active dialogue. I pursued the same approach when I discussed the faced problems and solutions to them with representatives of farmers’ associations. I acted similarly when I spoke about the deficiencies on the pharmaceutical market or in the dialogue with businessmen, aimed at working out the legal framework needed for a healthy business environment. We were and are open to any type of consultation. It is important to follow the same direction and to promote the necessary reforms,” stated Pavel Filip.

The annual conference ends on July 5, when the participants are to agree the common principles of cooperation between Parliament, the Government, civil society and the development partners.
