Premier Tarlev claims cooperation between local administration and syndicates helps realization of development programs in the Republic of Moldova
Prime-minister Vasile Tarlev claims the establishment of a reliable partnership between the local public administration and the syndicates leads to consolidation of the society and aids the realization of the countries development projects, such as “Satul Moldovenesc” project, Economic Growth and Poverty Reduction Paper (EGPRP), European Union – Republic of Moldova Action Plan.
The Prime-minister made these declarations during a round table entitled “Social dialog: reality and perspectives”, organized by Free Syndicates from Moldova Confederation „Solidarity” and the Association of regional presidents and councilors.
Tarlev pointed out that although the whole society took part in the elaboration of these strategies, including the local public administration, the implementation process is a lengthy one. The Premier requested from the heads of local public administration to invite the social partners also at the regional and municipal meetings, so that the latter have an active part in the evolution of regional decisions, just as the practice in the Governmental meetings is.
Prime-minister requested from the raion presidents to create within 10 days suggestions that will strengthen the collaboration with social partners and will help the development of the region.
Vasile Tarlev evaluated this meeting as a first step to the consolidation of the relations between social partners and the local public administration and expressed his regrets that this dialog didn’t take place right after the appointment of the local public administration in 2003.
