Premier Recean and Deputy Premier Popșoi to attend Antalya Diplomacy Forum

Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on March 1 and 2 will take part in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey. At the Forum, heads of state and government, ministers and experts will address topical issues from the regional and international agenda, IPN reports.

On the sidelines of the forum, Minister Mihai Popșoi will have meetings with his counterparts from Turkey, Hungary, Montenegro, Serbia, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the UK, Slovakia, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan. “In the meetings, we will discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between our countries. I will also participate as a speaker in the panel discussion on global food security challenges. The Antalya Diplomacy Forum is at its third edition,” said Mihai Popșoi.

The Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă said on Wednesday that Premier Recean will attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum at the invitation of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. “The goal is to communicate the Republic of Moldova’s country objectives, to boost the bilateral relations, especially in the economic and investment fields, in order to attract new investment opportunities. This aspect generates jobs and better remuneration conditions for enterprises founded by businesspersons from both of the states,” stated Daniel Vodă.
