Premier orders stepping up measures to ensure citizen safety
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will provide the necessary support to the two Moldovans who were injured in the bomb attack at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport. In Wednesday’s meting of the Government, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said terrorism does not recognize borders and ordered that the relevant bodies step up the measures aimed at ensuring people’s safety, especially in units of transport, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In another development, the Premier said the fight to reduce the prices of drugs or more exactly the efforts made for the prices to be real should yield results. He instructed that the Ministry of Health present the necessary amendments to the legislation as soon as possible.
Vlad Filat also said that in order to have real prices for the basic necessities all the economic entities without exception must observe the legislation on price setting.
It was agreed to identify possibilities of offsetting the impact of the rise in the tariffs on gas and other energy resources on socially underprivileged groups. Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga proposed providing compensations during the cold period of the year, in accordance with the mechanism used last November and December.
