Prime Minister Vlad Filat had a meeting with the new Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Jennifer Brush. The two officials discussed the current state of the Transnistrian conflict settlement process and the prospects for the immediate period, Info-Prim Neo reports According to a communiqué from the Government, the Premier took stock of the latest developments in the Transnistrian settlement and thanked the OSCE for its contribution to mediating this process. He stressed that the Moldovan authorities aim to resume the constructive dialogue and to identify viable solutions to the problems faced by the people living on both sides of the Nistru. Jennifer Brush approved of the progress made in the process of settling the Transnistrian conflict. She pleaded for fostering this process and voiced hope that the next round of talks in the 5+2 format that will take place in Vienna on April 17-18 will represent a good platform for tackling a series of topical problems. The two officials agreed to maintain a constant dialogue so as to establish efficient cooperation relations.
