Premier instructs putting up ‘anti-heat’ tents

Prime Minister Iurie Leanca demanded pitching tents on the streets of Chisinau where to provide primary medical assistance during the dog days, IPN reports.

In the June 26 meeting of the Government, Iurie Leanca said that during a ceremony at the Police Academy this morning, in which he took part, a young man lost his consciousness because of the heat.

The Premier asked that when the temperatures go up, ‘anti-heat’ tents should be put up on the streets of Chisinau so that the people are able to seek help in case of sunstroke or hypothermia.

Recently, Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca signed an order saying that assistance units should be set up in the family doctors centers where to provide drinking water and primary medical care to persons who will feel sick because of the high temperatures.
