Premier instructs ministries to render reports

Prime Minister Vlad Filat is dissatisfied with the work of the ministries and thus demanded that they present reports on how they fulfill their duties next week, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I want the state institutions to do their job well,” Vlad Filat said in Wednesday’s meeting of the Government. Asked by the press to say what ministries he meant, the Premier mentioned the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, which has not yet presented solutions for cheapening the biometric passports. ICT Minister Pavel Filip told the journalists after the meeting that they were to work out a method for calculating the prices of passports and the draft strategy was submitted to the Government, but he does not know why it did not reach the Prime Minister.
