Premier Gavrilița visits Ukraine’s Bucha and Irpin

Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița is paying a visit to Ukraine and visited Bucha and Irpin towns. “I saw myself burned and empty houses, destroyed schools, kindergartens and roads, but the crosses behind kindergartens are the most painful view. No picture, no video can transmit what we saw here, at the scene,” said the Premier.

Natalia Gavrilița firmly condemned again the horrors committed by the Russian army and expressed her full support for the continuation of the investigations into the war crimes on the territory of the neighboring state. According to her, each Ukrainian citizen, primarily children and women, all those who are subject to brutality and inhuman treatment deserve to be done justice in international criminal courts.

“Moldova is and will remain a reliable friend and partner of our neighboring country. We will continue supporting Ukraine as much as we can. I express all my gratitude for the sacrifice of the Ukrainian people who, despite the experienced terrors, continue their fight for freedom, struggling also for our right to form part of the free world,” stated the Premier.

Natalia Gavrilița will have a meeting with her Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal and other members of the Government of Ukraine. “We will have discussions centering on multiple subjects, including energy, transport, education and the EU candidate status obtained by Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova this summer,” noted the official.
