Prime Minister Pavel Filip on August 24 transmitted a congratulatory message to the Ukrainian people and his counterpart Volodimir Groisman on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, the Premier wished welfare and peace to the Ukrainian people, expressing his conviction that the Moldovan-Ukrainian relations will develop further in the interests of the citizens of both of the states.
“The traditional relations of friendship and understanding between our people will further contribute to strengthening the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine,” says Pavel Filip’s message.
Ukraine adopted the Declaration of Independence from the USSR on August 24, 1991.
