Prime Minister Vlad Filat hopes that the Party of Communists (PCRM) is sincerely interested in the well-being of Moldova, and will participate at the action planned for Wednesday, August 22, when German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrives to Chisinau, reports Info-Prim Neo. “I hope there is some amount of rationality left for understanding when the interest of Moldova is concerned, and not the interests of one Party or person, and if they understand it and sincerely care about the country, they should participate in everything related to our state’s development and modernization”, stated Vlad Filat, when asked by the press if the PCRM MPs will attend the speech of the German Chancellor. Angela Merkel plans to meet with all the leaders of Chisinau’s Parliamentary Parties, including Vladimir Voronin, leader of the Communists. As for the organization of the entire visit, the Premier did not want to state the expense, pointing out that it was premature to talk about any numbers. Vlad Filat state that it is important for everything to be prepared at the highest level, and that it is not easy at all to organize such a visit.
