Less than three months after the electricity charges were decreased, Premier Energy made a request to increase the charges to the National Agency for Energy Regulation, IPN reports.

According to the request, final consumers whose installations are connected to high-voltage power lines should pay 2.02 lei / kWh, compared to 1.71 lei / kWh (without VAT) at present.

Final consumers whose installations are connected to medium-voltage power lines are to pay 2.23 lei / kWh, up from the current charge of 1.90 lei / kWh (excluding VAT).

For final consumers whose installations are connected to low-voltage power lines (household consumers), the charge could be 2.77 lei / kWh, as against 2.39 lei / kWh (without VAT) at present.

On November 10, 2023, the National Agency for Energy Regulation decreased the electricity charge from 2.57 lei/kWh to 2.39 lei/kWh (excluding VAT). Premier Energy powers consumers in the center and south of the country.
