Premier demands reconstructing courts of law all over Moldova
Inspired by the Ceadir-Lunga example, Prime Minister Vlad Filat instructed Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim to work out a court of law reconstruction plan for the next five years, which will cover all the national courts, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“If we want and demand that we have an appropriate legal system, we must make effort to create the necessary working conditions,” Vlad Filat said in the Government’s meeting.
The sum needed for the purpose is estimated at €20 million.
The Palace of Justice in Ceadir-Lunga town was inaugurated on August 16. The Government allocated 10.5 million lei for its construction. According to the executive’s press service, the new court of law is the only institution of the kind erected from the base after the proclamation of Moldova’s independence.
