Minister of Aquiculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov and Minister of the Interior Dorin Recean on July 1 will render a detail report on the situation in the areas affected by hail, including the losses sustained by the farmers, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Government, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca asked that the two present information about the situation in the areas affected by hail over the last few days and identify financial resources to compensate the farmers for the losses.

The preliminary data show that more than 8,000 hectares of crops were damaged.
