The Party of Regions of Moldova could be under No.18 on the ballot, while the Party “Moldova’s Patriots” – under No. 19. The order was decided by a draw by the Central Election Commission after the two parties submitted the documents for being registered as election contenders on June 7, IPN reports.
Under the electoral legislation, the CEC within seven days will examine the files and will decide whether to register the candidates or not. The order on the ballot becomes definitive when the candidates are officially registered by the CEC as election competitors.
The deadline for submissions is June 11.
