The Chisinau City Hall said practically all the trolleybuses resumed work, except for those running on route No.3. Also, the trolleybuses No. 4, 10, 24, 2 and 13 run on modified routes for now. A number of 197 trolleybuses of the 215 are working on routes, according to the schedule for Saturday, IPN reports.

All the urban and suburban bus routes were restored and all the available buses are now running. In the course of last night, the road maintenance company “Exdrupo” intervened to clean up the streets, access ways to yards of apartment buildings and to suburbs. The pluvial drainage channels were unblocked. Two snowplows are now blocked at the entrance to Cheltuitor village. Ten special vehicles will work on roads today.

Since early morning, workers of the Green Areas Association have collected downed trees and broken branches from streets and yards. Intervention teams of the lighting company “Lumteh” and other subdivisions are also on duty. The reconnection of consumers to the centralized heating system continues. All the kindergartens and hospitals of Chisinau and over 300 apartment buildings are now supplied with heat.

The authorities call on the citizens to become involved in the alleviation of the consequences of the heavy snowfall. Clearing the access ways of branches is a priority.
