PPȘ MP: Snap elections are inevitable

Șor Political Party MP, Denis Ulanov, said that that two scenarios are possible in the current political context. The first scenario involves a hasty appointment of the government, which, according to Ulanov, would not be able to work efficiently. The second scenario involves holding snap parliamentary elections. The statements were made for the press after consultations with the head of state were held.

Denis Ulanov said that the second scenario that involves snap elections is a successful and prospective one. "Snap elections will inevitably take place and, in the current situation, it is the best course of action because a minority government is doomed to be inefficient. Moreover, there is no precedent of efficient long term minority governments in our country", said the MP.

In his opinion, it is necessary to start from something and the best place to start is from the correct decisions of political parties that can form a majority and that act in the interest of the voter. "This is our position and it will remain unchanged until we reach snap parliamentary elections. We will see what happens next", said Denis Ulanov.

The Șor Party has seven MP seats. The leader of the party, MP Ilan Șor, is internationally wanted and does not attend Parliament meetings.
