The People’s Party of the Republic of Moldova (PPRM) declared the political year 2014 as one of special importance. A relevant declaration was made by the party’s leader Alexandru Oleinic, when speaking about the agenda of the PPRM’s priorities, which is announced as an alternative to the government in the current electoral year, IPN reports.

“It is a year when the People’s Party is to finish the constitution and strengthening process. Though the PPRM is present practically in all the districts of Moldova, we must have clear confirmation of our representation in all the Moldovan villages. We must make sure that our message is the one that our people want to year, that the ultimate objective of our political projects is to improve the people’s lives and that Moldova’s chances to regain its verticality and dignity are not only an electoral discourse,” said Alexandru Oleinic.

At organizational level, the main events planned by the PPRM are local conference and the party’s congress. The party also aims to create youth and farmers organizations in all the country’s districts.

“The attention we pay to agriculture by promoting solutions that are really favorable to the farmers makes us insist on organizational forms in this sector too. In the same connection, the People’s Party will insist on the elimination of constraints from the business sector so as to offer real chances for the constitution of the middle class without which Moldova’s future is uncertain,” stated the leader of the PPRM.

According to him, the legislative elections of this autumn are one of the most important exams of the party this year. The PPRM will take part in them at full capacity. “This is the line that will show how organized and powerful we are, who united the party is and how real the number of our supporters are, what prospects the party has and what grade we deserve,” said Alexandru Oleicnic, adding the PPRM assumes the role of alternative to the current government.
