The Congress of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) will be held on December 12, 2021. A new administration will be elected in the Congress, in accordance with the statutes. The date of the Congress was agreed in the September 5 meeting of the National Political Council of the party, IPN reports.

In a press release, PPPDA says that on December 12 it will be celebrated the sixth anniversary of the founding of the political party. The Congress will elect the party’s president by secret ballot, the composition of the party’s Standing Political Bureau, the National Political Council and other statutory bodies.

According to the acting president of PPPDA Dinu Plîngău, as from today, any member of the party can apply to compete for posts in the party’s administration. As an extraparliamentary party with a good legislative experience, they will take all the important decisions together with the party’s local organizations.

Until the new administration is elected, Dinu Plîngău will continue to hold the post of acting president. The party aims to put forward solutions to the most important problems of the citizens and to promote the implementation of the legislative proposals registered in the previous Parliament by the MPs of PPPDA.

The whole administration of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”, including the president and vice presidents, resigned on July 13 this year. The party was led by Andrei Năstase, who was assisted by vice presidents Inga Grigoriu, Dinu Plîngău, Chiril Moțpan, Alexandru Slusari, Igor Munteanu and Liviu Vovc.
