The group of the DA Platform of the ACUM Bloc asks to include 19 subjects of a “people’s agenda” in the agenda of the first sitting of the new parliamentary session. Deputy Parliament Speaker Alexandru Slusari told a news conference that these subjects are very important for the people, society and the economy, for the socioeconomic development, the fight against corruption and the reformation of the justice sector and were discussed with the people, IPN reports.
The group of the DA Platform suggests questioning the prosecutor general over the bank fraud, foreign financing for the PSRM, concession of the Chisinau International Airport, kidnapping of Turkish teachers, privatization process of autumn-winter 2018, etc. Also, the heads of the Government and the National Bank of Moldova should be questioned about the report of the commission of inquiry into the bank fraud. The chief of the Security and Intelligence Service, ministers, director of the National Agency for Energy Regulation and chairman of the Competition Council should also report in Parliament, including on the recent rise in fuel prices.
The MPs of the PPPDA insist on the inclusion of a number of bills in the agenda, concerning the moratorium on state inspections at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, the adoption of the statement on the dropping of political cases against persons persecuted by the oligarchic regime, the report of the commission of inquiry into the organization of the privatization and concession of public property starting with 2013.
The PPPDA also proposes creating three commissions of inquiry: into the circumstances of the events of April 2009, into the liquidation of Banca de Economii, Unibank and Banca Socială and into the circumstances that led to the laundering of Russian money through courts and financial-banking institutions of Moldova.
