The Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) filed a denouncement to the Prosecutor General’s Office over footage published on Telegram. According to the party, Grigore Filipov offered by 300 lei to inhabitants of the Transnistrian region who were brought to Criuleni to vote in favor of Igor Dodon and the Party of Socialists.

In a press release, the PPPDA says the money offered by Grigore Filipov is of an unclear origin, while the paid sums are substantial.

This is the second denouncement concerning Grigore Filipov submitted by the PPPDA. Earlier, the party reported illegalities committed by the head of Dubăsari district, including by inaction, in the setting up of the 37 checkpoints by the separatist forces of Tiraspol in the Security Zone.

Contacted by IPN, spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General’s Office Maria Vieru said the institution hasn’t so far received the denouncement about which the PPPDA informed today. When it is received, it will be examined in accordance with the law. Based on the first denouncement filed by the party, the PGO took legal action to investigate the actions of Grigore Filipov.
