PPPDA seeks convocation of Parliament for examining situation on oil market

The parliamentary group of the Party ”Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) asks to urgently call a plenary meeting of the legislative body so as to examine the situation on the oil products market, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the party.

This way, the PPPDA MPs demand that Parliament should examine the Competition Council’s secret report on cartel agreements reached by oil companies in 2019-2021 and the National Agency for Energy Regulation’s report on the drafting of the methodology for regulating the formation and applying of the highest prices of oil products.

According to the PPPDA, fuel prices in Romania have deceased considerably in the recent past, while the price of a liter of gasoline in the Republic of Moldova rose by over 5 lei during the last six months.
