PPPDA requests prosecutor general to furnish information about several resonant cases

The Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) asks Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo to provide information about the criminal cases started against persons involved in the fixing of the contest to concede the Chisinau International Airport and against those who allocated and didn’t pay the money provided from the budget in 2014-2015 in compensation to the depositors of the three systemic banks, Banca de Economii, Banca Socială and Unibank, IPN reports.

The party’s vice president Igor Munteanu made an approach given that a rather long period of time passed since the report of the commission of inquiry presented all the necessary details for taking legal action over the illegal concession of the Airport. “It’s time to find out names and indictments on the resonant cases that caused trouble to us. We want these names to be uttered by the current prosecutor general. It is his last chance. Years of criminal investigations and judiciary control passed. On Wednesday, we asked the prosecutor general to tell us about the legal status of the persons involved in the rigging of the contest to concede the Airport, Air Moldova, GSA,” stated the MP.

Igor Munteanu asked for information about the status of the officials who contributed to the bank fraud. “We also inquired about the legal states of the persons from the Government of the Republic of Moldova who earmarked and didn’t pay the budget funds allocated in 2014-2015 in compensation to the depositors of the three systemic banks,” he noted.
