The parliamentary group of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) transmitted the draft motion of no confidence against the “Dodon Government” to the MPs of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), vice president of the PPPDA Alexandru Slusari announced through Facebook, being quoted by IPN.

“We hope that our colleagues and all the conscious citizens realize very well that if the Chicu Cabinet remains, this degeneracy will last until next spring. If snap parliamentary elections are held after the presidential elections, the current Government, even if it becomes interim, will manage Moldova until April-May 2021,” wrote Alexandru Slusari.

He noted that those who plead for snap parliamentary elections this year should honestly and openly tell the people that the country will have to remain without a self-sufficient Government for at least six months as only the removal of the Government and the impossibility of appointing another Cabinet lead to snap elections.

“The PPPDA suggests a real alternative, assuming governance and all the related risks. We do not accept the formula – the worse is the country governed by our political opponents, the better is for us.”

Earlier, PAS MP Sergiu Litvinenco in a TV program said the Action and Solidarity Party will not support the removal of the Government led by Ion Chicu in the current conditions. According to him, this position was stated in a meeting of representatives of the PAS and PPPDA held in the Parliament Building.
