Representatives of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) had three meetings with the leader of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) Pavel Filip and a meeting with the president of honor of the PDM Dumitru Diacov to discuss the no confidence motion against the Government led by Ion Chicu, PPPDA vice president Alexandru Slusari was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Secrets of the Power” on Jurnal TV channel.

“I tell you sincerely and possibly for the first time – it was hard to have discussions. It looked as if we were from different planets. We discussed constructively, but the approaches were different. I somehow looked into the eyes of Mister Dimitry Gheorghevici (Dumitru Diacov – e.n.) and realized that it will be very hard for us,” stated Alexandru Slusari.

For his part, Dumitru Diacov said the issue of the no confidence motion appeared because the parties didn’t sit at the negotiating table.

“Everyone has plans and own pretentions. It was a nice story for the PPPDA - that it assumed responsibility and was ready to provide a government till evening,” stated Dumitru Diacov.

Alexandru Slusari noted that as a result of the meetings, they could deduce that the PDM has commitments and arrangements with President Igor Dodon.
