The Political Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPPDA) and the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) could run together, as a bloc, in the 2018 parliamentary elections, PPPDA leader Andrei Nastase stated in the program “Important” on TVC21 channel, IPN reports.
Andrei Nastase said he already submitted such a proposal to the PAS leader Maia Sandu. “I said it clearly that we will combine forces in the parliamentary election campaign if we do not manage to obtain the withdrawal of the mixed electoral system,” he stated, noting he is waiting for an answer from the PAS.
The PPPDA leader also said that if his party enters Parliament after the elections, it will no way form an alliance with the Democratic Party and the Party of Socialists. “Supporting today Plahotniuc means supporting Dodon and vice versa. The voters of these two parties should understand that they are fooled,” stated Andrei Nastase.
