The group of the Electoral Bloc “European People’s Party of Moldova (PPEM) - Iurie Leanca” asks to reexamine the decision to sell a plot located near a private facility in the Chisinau Park “Valea Morilor”. The request was made following notifications from civil society concerning elements that pose risks of abuse and cause doubts about the economic opportunity of privatization for the municipality, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the party, the councilors drew attention to the fact that even if the draft decision refers to the sale of the plot situated near a private facility, the photos sent by representatives of civil society clearly show that it is not a facility or construction, but only some reinforced concrete blocks placed so as to create the impression of foundations.
“The PPEM considers that a political party must have the capacity to return to the adopted decisions if clear arguments are provided about the necessity of revision, as in this case,” Chisinau councilor Oazu Nantoi told a news conference.
The Electoral Bloc “PPEM - Iurie Leanca” invites all the groups from the Chisinau Council to attend the debate on this issue so as to have all the arguments on the table and to take a correct decision in the name of all the inhabitants of the municipality of Chisinau.
