The leadership of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party has reacted to political pundit Oazu Nantoi’s call to identify a joint candidate for the upcoming presidential elections and saluted his stance on uniting the anti-oligarchic political and civic forces, IPN reports.

According to a statement signed by PPDA chairman Andrei Nastase, Oazu Nantoi’s view perfectly fits with PPDA’s frequently expressed position. Joining the anti-oligarchic forces will bring hope back to the people, will hasten the victory against the anti-popular government and will help attract the most active, professional and honest people to be included in a future governmental and parliamentary team, thinks Nastase.

PPDA is ready to adopt this formula, which guarantees maximum success and efficiency, at any moment. According to Nastase, such an important decision must be based on the trust of the people, whose opinion should constantly be taken into account.
