Owing to a power failure, the trolleybuses running from Telecentru quarter to the center of Chisinau stopped work for a period.

Senior specialist of the Common Road Traffic Monitoring and Control Center Pavel Apostol has told IPN that a portion of a power cable was damaged at the intersection of the streets Miorita and Gheorghe Asachi. Emergency response teams remedied the situation in half an hour and trolleybus traffic was resumed.

Also because of a power failure, the trolleybuses running from Rascani district to central Chisinau could not travel. A portion of an electrical cable on Grigore Vieru St was damaged and incident response teams are working to fix the problem.
