Potential bidders from 14 countries on visit to “Apa-Canal Chisinau”

Potential bidders at the tender contest to rehabilitate the Chisinau wastewater treatment station and to build a new mud processing line paid a working visit to the public utility SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau”. These represented 33 companies from 14 countries, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the company, the field trip started with a meeting where they discussed the implementation of the Priority Investment Program that is financed by the EBRD and EIB, the specific features of the tendering process and the program of the visit.

The potential bidders were able to see the wastewater treatment station in Chisinau municipality. The visit was necessary for achieving the tender contest objectives – to deliver and install new mechanic and electrical equipment for the wastewater treatment station and for the new mud processing line, to rehabilitate the existent installations and to build new mud processing installations, to put all the new equipment into operation, etc.

This is the eighth tender contest that will be held within the Priority Investment Program. It is one of the most important tenders because it is designed to launch the works to modernize the wastewater treatment station. The deadline for applications is August 9, 11am. The winner must finish the works within 900 calendar days.
