One of the draft’s authors, MP Eva Gudumac states that the basic legislative acts regulating the way of granting medical assistance to the population do not stipulate an efficient state mechanism for supporting the respective people, which dictates the adjustment of the legislative acts to the specific constitutional provisions. In addition, the reason is that education in Moldova is a national priority.
The respective category includes about 700 people, and the extra expenses will reach almost a million lei.
Children up to 18 years of age, students, pensioners, disabled people, unemployed people and mothers of 5 or more enjoy free insurance policies.
