Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov and the new Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos discussed the possibilities of gradual integration into the European Union over the next few years in Brussels, IPN reports.

In Brussels, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met the new Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos, a native of Slovenia - a country with which Moldova has good cooperation and friendly relations, the Office for European Integration said.

"I thanked Marta Kos for the constant support of the European Commission, which is helping us to modernize our country and give our citizens a better life", Cristina Gherasimov said during the meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov is in Brussels, where the 8th meeting of the Republic of Moldova-European Union Association Committee is taking place (December 2-6).
