The first national portal enabling users to make appointments for consular services provided by Moldova’s diplomatic missions abroad has been launched in pilot mode. The portal programari.gov.md offers the possibility for Moldovans in the diaspora to quickly and conveniently schedule an appointment at the nearest diplomatic mission, for any available service.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration says that, in pilot mode, the scheduling service will be valid for 13 locations, to be gradually extended for the entire consular network of the Republic of Moldova. The service is free, personalized and available 24 hours a day. This can be done at least one day before the date of the requested appointment.

To make an appointment, the applicant will enter some identification data, such as name, surname, identification number, address, a phone number, e-mail address, select the type of service, date and time of the appointment. The result will be sent to the applicant’s email address for confirmation. The system offers the possibility of scheduling family members by adding additional beneficiaries.
