The candidate for Chisinau Mayor on behalf of the Democrat Party feels he has won the election campaign. According to Filat, he and his team proved that civilised campaigns can be held in Moldova, campaigns based on promoting solutions to problems without practicing personal attacks and also that the communication is possible and necessary. Moreover, Filat says that modern election campaigns based on constructive messages can be conducted in Moldova. At the same time, the DP candidate said that the population of Moldova needs evolutions and not revolutions and that the people of Moldova was disregarded and was lied to, as it was told it is living the way it lives because of the lack of money. Filat considers that the situation of the population was caused by the lack of a correct attitude, by the fact that parallel worlds were created – the administration pursued its interests and the citizens were left to solve their problems by themselves. Filat voted “for the future of children, who deserve to live in a free and prosperous country”. Vladimir Filat came to the polling station no.126 located on Drumul Viilor Street together with his wife and two children.
